Voyage Manager's iOS and Android apps offer travellers a wealth of information about their trips. But they also help to keep them safe, and assist you in fulfilling your duty of care towards travelling staff.
Our mobile app uses GPS tracking to monitor the movement of each traveller. Tracking continues even when they are away from mobile networks; the app will report their location back to Voyage Manager once they are in range again.
We also make use of HLR lookup to automatically tell which country or region a phone is in, and the system also incorporates geofencing features. These enable the system to determine if a traveller has reached specific waypoints on their itinerary, such as a transfer airport.
